(V) Task Five: Assignment 2 - Prezi Pitch

(IV) Task 4: Assignment 3 - Identifying Potential Problems

Identifying Potiential Problems

Our advertisement we are aware of copyright and ther terms of music and images taken from other projects that we will lie to make it ours when it not. The advertisement will be a simple thing to do along with struggles of shooting and making the advert suitable to the viewers. The advert may have a problem which is the false information about the product that could be given out so we decided to have the information from the website of iPhone to tell the audience of the iPhone information. The advert have to be reliable towards the viewers as they will know what they can know about the advert and will be given the right information about the iPhone otherwise it will be a false advertisement.

Another problem is the information that is said which could make this advert look like it is a fake with all the stolen information from the others. The things we do in the advert may not be suitable for the viewers to see.

(III) Task 3: Assignment 2: Production

Production

As we start to do our production, we all needed to decide where we are going to shoot the production by finding a place to shoot our advertisement. But we needed help to do this advert so we needed the Technical Equipment, Actor and Actresses, Costumes and Props and Filming Location which we need to have for the advert that we can create an advert with them.

The use of the Technical Equipment is the iPhone itself as we borrowed it from our director of the group. We have to hire a camera which £70 a day and we also needed the tripod since it came with the camera to support it against a steady hand. We might film three or four times a days and under 1-2 hours for it was the only time avaliable to do.

Our first location was going to be McDonalds however, to shoot this advertisement we have to ask the manager for permission to shoot around the place. From our place of creating the idea to McDonalds is not that far to walk. To go outside of the school which is the place that we have been creating our ideas, we need to ask thre adults for use ot leave the place with the camera and tripod. We wanted to film in another location called Heath Park but we have to ask permission to go to Heath Park with an adult permission.

Our Actors that we needed for the filming is all five males who will participate in the advert as it was only us five that will be doing the filming in the end. The actors will be doing a great job as the production team will treat them with respect.

With the advertisement where we don't need any fance dress, for this advertisement we will have to wear casual waer, and maybe some schoolwear as well.

(II) Task 2: Assignment 2 - Ideas Generation

Ideas Generation

We came up with the plan to make a advert and to do this we had to put our ideas into a storyboard where we can fidure what to do when we start filming. So we first came up with an idea to make an advert to advertise Fanta the drink but we later thought that it was not worth it to do that advert which we change to advertise the iPhone since someone of use have an iPhone on us.

We decided to watch other advert that advertise the iPhone which we saw how they advertise the feature with classic music playing in the back. Each scene shows different people with the features of the iPhone showing the world what they can do with an iPhone. We wanted to the same but with less people in the scenes of the advert who will be the main characters however, we decided to have all three of us to be the owener and the user of the iPhone that we are advertising.

We came up with the form of the advert as realist as the iPhone was realistic enough to have the people who are advertising the iPhone towards the target audience. We then came up with an idea to place each characters in different location to do the features that are on the iPhone.

We done this with our storyboard and then we planned on who is going to act and who is going to film. Here is the storyboard that is the creation of our ideas. There are two ideas for our advertising and we came up with a way to advertise the features that are in the phone and how they will make everyday life interesting.

Evaluation

Evaluation

In our Advert making, we had some kind of trouble coming up with an idea that we can use for out advert until we were inspired by the iPhone adverts and decides to make a different iPhone advert for what teenagers would do if they had an iPhone and what would they use it for.

We came up with a storyboard on how we should set this advert out and we came up with a difficult way to come up with an idea. So we decided to have an scene with a person dancing to the music, taking picture, going on the map to find his direction, using the flashlight to light up a dark room and using the phone to do what it does best, using the internet.

We decides to have three actors to do this advert and two people to film and direct the advert so that we can make it perfect for the viewers. So our main goal was to actract younger viewers who are interested in the iPhone and want to see what is in store for the new phones for them to get and have as their own. We heard that some of the people around London and other part of the world in the major cities all love the iPhone and appear at every convention that they have. The selling point for this advert is the abilities to use phone in any different ways which can be interested by the viewers when they want to check the bus time or use it interent for fun, reserach and games even downloading music.

After we shoot the advert, we held a focus group to show our advertisement towards our target viewers. We got feedbacks from the target audience by asking them a question about the advert and the product. We asked them question which is "Do you like the advert and why?". We asked them if they like the advert and it plot about the product or not and we asked why but their reason was understandble enough to answer. We also asked them if the advert is effective enough for them and if anyone is interested in the advert. Finally, we asked them if we need any improvement in our advert they say so before we finish. Most them didn't answer as we made the advert suitable enough for the people to understand what the advert is all about.

What we found is that our advert share the same similarities towards the orginal iphone as it held all the other features that they have but produce the advert differently to show the features of the iPhone over and over again. Our advert included the map finding, torch light and music playing amogst friends which didn't match up to the attention that we had for our focus group.

The improvement that we could have done is to more active towards the perform and get a better volume on our voices for we couldn't be heard and maybe compare the work to the other prodcut to have like a little competition against each product. However, our location can be in different places where if will be use in the public places like the bus stop or the streets near the shopping centre or supermarket.

To conclude this we think that we have n't reach our aim in advertising task but we have began to agree to show what else the iPhone can do with the other features that have not been used in any of the iPhone adverts. Lately, we have been happy that people like our adverts and it was that bad mayebe it was because we add in the music towards the adverts to make more entertaining.

(V) Task Five/AS1: Results

The Results

The Results are in as I created a survey and asked people to answer them for me as I have created a survey with questions about the Phones from my survey.

This Question is what the people will answer because of their age if they are 16, 17, or 18 years of age and only five people answered the question and only three are sixteen, two are seventeen and none are eighteen.

Another questions is that anyone who currently has an iPhone andante result shows that 2 has got an iPhone and three hasn't got iPhone.

Here in this question, I asked anyone who has phone and and I ask them what they do with their phone. Five chose Music, Four chose Calling, Four chose Texting, Four chose Internet, Two chose For Work, One chose For School, Two chose for Taking Pictures, Three chose Entertainment and Three chose Gaming.

I asked people this question how often they use their phone and only five chose Every Day for this is the life of a teenager. A phone is every teenagers social life and their friend.

This question is asking them which phone or company do they like and why. Three people chose Samsung and Two chose iPhone.

I asked this question about if they were working within a phone company what would they create and why. Two chose Samsung and Three chose iPhone.

This question is asking the viewers what they think about the iPhone adverts that comes and goes on our TV or computers even our phone. Four answered while one skipped. The four think that the latest adverts are just showing the same thing but with different features.

I asked them this question because sometime ponies will thing that will gets us annoyed with it and only two answers have been used. One chose "Dropping your phone and it cracks even when protected by a case" while four chose "When your battery mysteriously decides to go from 20% to 0 and shut off, all in five seconds".

I asked this question which is their favourite phone from different companies. Two people chose iPhone, Six people chose Samsung, One chose Moto X, one chose Nokia Lumia and One chose Sony Xperia.

This final question is about why people buy these phones and why.

That Task V completed.

Production: iPhone 5s

Potential problems and how to overcome these problems:

If it was raining with the camera our plan B was that if we cant shoot it outside then we'll go inside and worry about what we need to do and what we can do. If classroom isn't free then we would have a back up room to film or we would just confirm ith the teacher when the classroom is free.

Proposal

Our advertisement consists of certain scenarios a user of the iPhone would find better having the iPhone rather than not having one, this can consist of being lost in the woods and looking at Google maps, playing music or simply making videos… In slow motion. The advertisement is generally aimed towards anyone that would need an iPhone.

Our advertisement will take place in several different locations where we have the permissions to film at. We have the simple props such as the iPhone 5s and the costumes will just be casual.

The advertisement will feature a group of 5, who are students at Robert Clack School. The programme will be produced on a digital format camera and edited using digital technology, The programme budget overall will be £1245.96

(I) Task Two/AS2: Market Research

Market Research

Apple's iPhone was introduced at MacWorld in January 2007 and officially went on sale on June 29, 2007. An iPhone can function as a video camera (video recording was not a standard feature until the iPhone 3GS was released), a camera phone, can send texts and receive visual voicemail, a portable media player, and an Internet client with email and web browsing capabilities, and both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. The user interface is built around the device’s multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard rather than a physical one. Third-party as well as Apple application software is available from the App Store, which launched in mid-2008 and now has over 425,000 “apps” approved by Apple. These apps have diverse functionalities, including games, reference, GPS navigation, social networking, security and advertising for television shows, films, and celebrities. The seven generation of iPhone are:
iPhone (Original iPhone or iPhone 2G)
Samsung Galaxy S
Samsung Galaxy S5

iPhone 3G
iPhone 5GS
iPhone 4
iPhone 4S
iPhone 5
iPhone 5C
iPhone 5S

Android's best-selling series returns for 2014, with Samsung offering a strangely muted and not entirely thrilling update to the Galaxy S range. The Galaxy S5 is a little more angular than the curved Galaxy S4, with Samsung still sticking with the physical Home button and once again eschewing a move to software buttons. While it's not hugely thrilling to look at, the insides of the S5 are more than capable, with a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 801 processor running the show and backed by 2GB of RAM.The Galaxy S range has had great cameras since the Galaxy SII blew everyone away with its colour reproduction and speed, and Samsung's continuing to lead here with a 16-megapixel sensor in the Galaxy S5. Plus, as we're seeing many other phone makers introduce, the S5's camera lets you adjust shot focus after you've taken a photo, if you fancy entering the required mode. And it's waterproof now, too. Samsung GALAXY S series refers to the high-end flagship Android smartphones in the Samsung GALAXY series and includes Super Smart devices of the GALAXY series and manufactured by Samsung Electronics. There ive generation of Samsung Galaxy are:

Samsung Galaxy S II
Samsung Galaxy III
Samsung Galaxy S4
Samsung Galaxy S5
